Hanging Basket Class

We can’t tell you the number of times we have been asked to offer this class! So finally - our Living Wreath Class is here again. In this hands-on 4 hour class, you will create an 12 inch succulent wreath and learn all you need to know about how to display and care for it. The cost for this Living Wreath Class is $145 dollars + tax. All plants and the wreath form are provided in this cost. After your wreath is created, we will keep it in our greenhouse until Spring to allow it to root and grow. Bench space is provided in the cost of the class, and you will need to return to our greenhouse during a designated time in the spring to pick up your wreath and take it home. These wreaths are truly beautiful and are sure to claim the spotlight in your garden. You can choose from one of three dates: Saturday Jan 24, Saturday Feb 21 or Sunday March 1 or Saturday March 7 from 1:00 to 5:00.

In this class you'll plant a 10" hanging basket with larger plants than are typically used in our bowl classes. No worries if you don't have a spot to hang it, as you can leave the hanger off and use it as a potted plant. You can even set the pot directly inside one of your favourite pots at home to enjoy.

Description

After planting, we'll keep your pot in the greenhouses until spring when you can arrange a time to come and pick it up. You might not even recognize it as it grows and soaks in the sun and warmth of the greenhouse so that it will be 'display ready' for your deck, garden or sunny window.

We provide a wide range of beautiful succulents for you to choose from, clear class instructions and the necessary greenhouse care to help your basket root and grow for spring. 

And you will LOVE working in a warm greenhouse in the middle of winter, surrounded by our succulent crop and collection. There’s simply nothing like it!
