THIS FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY IS OUR LAST WEEKEND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL SPRING 2026.
For the first time since Covid, we will be fully closed between Christmas and New Year's. We hope it will allow our staff to enjoy the season and have a well-deserved period of relaxation after a year that has been exciting but hectic, seeing many planned changes and adjustments.
We appreciate our staff's hard work during this year of returning to our acreage, and we appreciate all of you for following us back home and being patient as we continue to get our acreage to pre-pandemic organization.
The first 3 months of 2026 will be a different pace and focus for us.
WE WON'T BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON WEEKENDS DURING THE WINTER, BUT WE HOPE THAT YOU WILL VISIT US FOR PLANNED EVENTS AND CLASSES.
We will be offering classes of all sorts during the wintertime, and we hope that you will attend ticketed chef-designed dinners that we will be organizing.
YOU WILL STILL BE ABLE TO BOOK PRIVATE PARTIES OR GATHERINGS WITH MAKE-YOUR-OWN-PIZZAS (MYOP) THROUGH THE WINTER.

And ANTIQUE LOVERS can contact Roger by text at 306-280-2762 to arrange an appointment to view antiques.
We will be organizing our antique/vintage/thrifting greenhouse (now tin-sided) so that it will be up and open in April.
But January through March will be primarily focused on succulent propagation and production and developing new products to offer you in classes or in our greenhouses.
It is a wonderful time, growing a new crop and planning the new season, seeing the crop mature and the greenhouses fill while enjoying the days get longer and warmer.

Because it is our final 2025 weekend, we wanted this weekend to be special...and it is!
From a final 2025 Christmas-themed class, to sales on popular items, to tasting and sampling, and great deals on vintage ornaments...we have a lot going on.
AND THIS WEEKEND, WE ARE OPEN FRIDAY AS WELL AS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY (10 AM - 5 PM EACH DAY)

Looking for a beautiful Christmas centrepiece, hostess gift or present for someone on your list?
If so, there is still time to sign up for our Christmas Bowl class this Saturday at 1:30.
You will begin by choosing one of our festive ceramic pots (created, glazed and fired right here at our Solar Gardens Ceramic Studio).
If you wish, you can add a small ceramic tree to your pot at a slight additional cost.
Then you will choose your succulents and learn how to arrange them. You will leave with your own unique succulent arrangement for the holiday season.
We will have a glue gun and plenty of free Christmas decorations. : )
So if you want to add some holiday whimsy to your pot, please do so!
And of course, you will get instructions on how to care for your creation so that it continues to look gorgeous in the weeks ahead.
This class is a great deal and a whole lot of fun and creativity!
Prices range from $45 to $85 (plus taxes) per pot depending upon the size of pot you choose.

We Are Sampling this Sat and Sun
Visit our acreage Dining Room this Saturday and Saturday, and you will be able to sample some of our Candy and Baking.
Try our Copper Kettle Fudge, Poppycock, Christmas Cake and other items. We will have freshly made baking and candy for purchase, just in time for the holiday season!
And of course, you can sample our balsamics and olive oils in our Tasting Studio. Sample them with our fresh-baked artisan bread.
Stock up on Treats for the holiday season and winter
While you are choosing your hot chocolate packets, be sure to stock up on some other items that we think are always good to have on hand.
Check out the Amish Popcorn and Amish Popcorn Seasonings. They come in a variety of delicious flavours and are great to have for movie nights or when you want a savoury treat. This popcorn is popular with all ages and would make a great stocking stuffer.
New this year, we are offering our Hot Buttered Rum Mix. Wonderfully spiced, you can mix it with any type of rum and have a tasty, warm mug ready to sip in minutes. A toddy made with this hot buttered rum mix will indeed warm your soul. It is perfect when socializing, when sitting in front of the tree or fire, or to warm you up after shoveling your neighbour's snow.
And we think everyone should have a box of frozen pizza shells on hand in their freezer. We sell our thin-crust pizza shells frozen in boxes of 10; When you feel like making a pizza, just pull a pizza shell out of the box and leave the rest in the freezer for next time. Then the fun and creativity begins,. Add any toppings that you like and bake it in your oven according to the included instructions.

We are downsizing our personal Christmas Decoration Collection this weekend.
Drop by our dining room to find great treasures and deals on vintage ornaments and lights, along with decorations from our former city shops.
Some items are very old and have been in our collection for several decades. Other items are newer but all are in good condition and some have never been used.
